Contract awarded for Energy industry billing system lot-0001, title: billing software and implementation project, description: the municipal utilities of dinslaken are currently using an sap-based billing system, the energy management module sap is-u, which is used productively as part of the sap r/3 landscape. while the core system has already been migrated to sap s/4hana, the is-u module has not been modernized. due to the announced end of maintenance for sap is-u on december 31, 2027, there is an urgent need to replace this system with a modern, efficient billing solution. the new solution must comprehensively cover billing in the sectors of electricity, gas, heat, and water, as well as fully support operating cost and heating cost billing in accordance with current legal requirements. the future billing system will be used by several legally independent companies. the goal is to provide, implement, and operate a unified billing system that is tailored to the requirements of the municipal utilities of dinslaken while also meeting the needs of the other using companies. lot 1: the design and implementation of the new billing system is expected to take place from august 1, 2026, to january 31, 2028. this process is to be accompanied by the contractor, who is responsible for the transformation. during the bidding phase, the client and contractor have the opportunity to discuss alternatives to the proposed schedule of the implementation project. however, the productive launch of the new system must be completed by december 31, 2027, at the latest, with the preliminary schedule of the transformation project described in the service description. the duration is five years with the option to extend for another three years. the requirements for service provision arise from the service description for lot 1. estimated value excluding vat: 7331007.00 eur.Energy industry billing system
