Contract awarded for Energy industry billing system lot-0002, title: data extraction, description: the municipal utilities dinslaken are currently using an sap-based billing system, the energy management module sap is-u, which is used productively as part of the sap r/3 landscape. while the core system has already been migrated to sap s/4hana, the is-u module has not been modernized. due to the announced end of maintenance for sap is-u on december 31, 2027, there is an urgent need to replace this system with a modern, efficient billing solution. the new solution must comprehensively cover billing in the sectors of electricity, gas, heating, and water, as well as fully support operating cost and heating cost billing in accordance with current legal requirements. the future billing system will be used by several legally independent companies. the goal is to provide, implement, and operate a unified billing system that is tailored to the requirements of the municipal utilities dinslaken while also meeting the needs of the other using companies. lot 2: the data extraction from the existing legacy systems, particularly from sap is-u and the relevant subsystems, will be tendered as a standalone lot. the start of the services to be provided will coincide with the kick-off of the services from lot 1, although it is expected that services will not be called upon for the entire duration of the lot 1 activities. the completion of the service will be achieved with the proper conclusion of the execution of the delivery scope of data extraction. the requirements for service provision arise from the service description for lot 2. estimated value excluding vat: 1143600.00 eur.Energy industry billing system
